Chris Klein was so unbelievably, jaw droppingly, historically bad in that movie that my friend and I had a 20 minute argument after seeing it over whether he was terrible on purpose to win a bet or whether whoever edited the film hated him and used the worst possible take in every one of his scenes.

There's some good movie material around, like the UDON (is that right?) comics.

The Legend of Chun Li COULD have been a good action popcorn flick.

You're talking about Street Fighter, which I didn't see but the same could be said for him in American Pie. Actually, I hated every character in that film except the dad, Freckles and Stifler and that's because Stifler was supposed to be a douchebag and he did it well. Everyone else was just a douchebag. But this guy was a terrible actor on top of that.

I hope he doesn't read this and fall off the wagon over it. I know I'm some nobody on a message board but you know how fragile drunks can be.

Danny Glover was so bad in the first SAW film that my wife and I made fun of him repeatedly starting about 20 minutes in. Then I found out years later that their budget was so low they ended up using rehearsal takes in the final film because they couldn't afford to go back and re-shoot most of his scenes.

So maybe Klein has a legitimate excuse, like that.

I don't think he was acting in that movie. He's like Paul Walker in the Fast and Furious films. He's playing himself. As far as Chun-Li is concerned, to me it looks like he intentionally camped it up.
