That was the best movie I saw in 2011. By far. Not a Hollywood movie, for sure. Which may in fact mean that my American friends will not be able to appreciate its meaning and poetical force. Not actually their fault, more their cultural diet to blame.

My wife plays Erhu, and if you actually learn how to play it correctly, it sounds amazing. How good does a violin sound in the hands of a beginner?
