| Gyrfalcon The question then becomes: Did he go to the store for diapers and figure now was a good time to grab some beer? Or did he think he'd steal the beer and use the diapers for a pity play if/when he got caught? |

I peed myself in the theaters laughing at that one. More than makes up for The Hudsucker Proxy. /Miller's Crossing better than Goodfellas? As far as this kid is concerned, yes indeed. |

rooftop235: Indolent: Don't forget the mugshot. Raising Arizona was the first thing that popped into my head. :) Could that be because the headline was directly referencing "Raising Arizona," perhaps? |

Formula's dang expensive, too. Some of our local stores keep it locked up in cases (like they do w/ cigarettes) - presumably because it's a frequent shoplifting target. Somewhat ironically, low income people are more likely to use formula than those who can actually afford it: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/artic les/PMC1481608/ |

If it wasn;t for WIC I'd be in much worse shape, financially |

I tried to stand up and fly straight, but it wasn't easy with that sumbiatch Obama in the White House. I dunno. They say he's a decent man, so maybe his advisors are confused. |

| Bathia_Mapes Mrs. Beasley: What the hell is wrong with you women? Breast feed your babies! It's not hard and it's better for them! /you can always get a boob lift after you're done procreating. //is truly angry at non-breast-feeding mothers. ///was a breast feeding mom. ////slashies! Not always an option for some women due to a number of factors. Breast is best, but you shouldn't make a woman feel bad because she's unable to breastfeed and has to use formula. I had that happen to me with the La Leche League despite the fact that I have an inherited condition that causes me to not produce any breastmilk at all. Not only do I have the condition, but so does my sister, my mother, my maternal grandmother and great-grandmother. It may go back further than that, but I don't know for certain. The harpies at La Leche League equated my inability to breastfeed my son with neglecting his most basic nutritional needs. They didn't seem to care that I was already heartbroken that I couldn't breastfeed my child. Not just because it's better, but also in the hope that it would help in preventing getting allergies as serious as mine. In short, they made me feel as though I was a bad mother. |
