Mom is just sitting on them now. I would be nice if the feed had an "alert" when something starts to happen. |

We have so many Canadian geese around here, I'm pretty sure they outnumber the humans. The other day I saw a pair of hawks kill a goose and fly away with it. GO HAWKS! |
||
| Jon H Are they living for free on a government building? On an upper floor? Did you know we are all paying for this. On a sunday? /when will it stop? |
||
| IAmRight Chariset: IAmRight: /the Lab of O is right outside my back door Go out into range of the camera and wave at us. The hawk nest isn't at the Lab of O, it's on campus. I could go by it if they had a wider shot, but :/ @ climbing an 80 foot pole to get in the current shot, only to be attacked by angry mama and papa hawks. |

Something must have just let out. There are all sorts of people walking on the ground. |

Hawk: That fly sure is interesting. |
||
| WTFDYW Manfred J. Hattan: Closer cam, higher def, more babies, sound and no ads. Cornell does not mess around when it comes to birds. No shiat. It's breezy there. |

Looks like one chick is dead already. Why did she give the other awake chick a stick? Mouse tail maybe? Hawk osso buco? |

One of the baby eagles in the eagle link has a lot to say right now. I never knew they sounded like that. Link |

The YouTube vid shows three eggs and two hatchlings. What happened to the third? In the live video I have not seen the chicks yet. |

There's a steady rain which sounds very nice, but the eaglets are burrowed as far as they can under Mom's feathers, clearly thinking "What the hell, Nature?" |

So you have to watch a 30 second ad in order to go to a live stream that's basically black (because it's night out). That's a real fun video experience, eh-hem, I mean fail |

That's a real fun video experience, eh-hem, I mean fail Well, try going back to the link in the morning, dumbass! I saw the hen feeding her cute little chicks pieces of a dove, then flying away to do her hawk stuff, while the chicks sat around peeping. They're asleep now. Which I should be too. I plan to follow these guys over the next few weeks. Thanks subby. |

| no clever name here just move along
IDK what you guys are seeing...it's all black |

I have 2 red tail hawks in my neighborhood ... I like bird watching ... and it makes me lol when i see signs in the complex noting that a cat has gone missing or a small dog has gone missing ... so its either the Hawk, the owl, or the Golden eagle who lives like 2-3 blocks away. |

Live video feeds are such time-of-dayists! Ruled by their fetish for daylight hours. |

Regarding that Iowa eagle cam - the whole town is really enthusiastic about it. This is on a chalkboard at a coffee shop downtown: |

I am surprised that some overly sensitive morons have not demanded that this feed be shut down for promoting violence. |
||
| DirtyDeadGhostofEbenezerCooke
Heh, mom hawk took the rest off to eat in peace,,,get away from all the flies that were swarming. |
||
| pikapartykid
Next course, SQUIRREL! The talking dogs will be pleased. |
||
| DirtyDeadGhostofEbenezerCooke
She brought back the half-rabbit...leftovers again. |
||
| Manfred J. Hattan
I think that's another rabbit. Seems the mom and dad hawk found a baby bunny nest. |
||
| DirtyDeadGhostofEbenezerCooke
Correction: I think dad-hawk was doing the feeding and brought the leftovers back. Mom-hawk seems to have caught another rabbit- it's the one in the larder. It's like a bunny-holocaust... |
||
| pikapartykid
I'll stand corrected - those are probably bunny parts. Funny shaped feet for squirrel. |

I don't think the one on the far left is going to make it - it's like it's not even trying to eat. |
||
| DirtyDeadGhostofEbenezerCooke
Zulu_as_Kono: I don't think the one on the far left is going to make it - it's like it's not even trying to eat. They've eaten two rabbits in four hours. Probably just stuffed. |
||
| Mock26
I really hope that the hawks do not catch any cats for dinner. I know it is mother nature and all, but that would kind of disturb me. |
