I already said the breaking the drywall makes me wonder what actually happened, regardless, we don't know if her body hit the drywall, his body hit the drywall, or a bathroom implement hit the drywall.

Since it was in a bathroom, I will totally wild ass guess and say what happened is that one of them grabbed the towel bar and (accidentally) pulled it off the wall.

I am not a lawyer, I do think it's an interesting question whether someone trying to flee and defend themselves from an assault could be charged with assault for grabbing the assailant and moving them.

I would say of course not, but I'm not a lawyer, who the hell knows what courts have determined on that.

The anger wheel is this little paper wheel that some anger management courses give to all their 'volunteers' that has a number of emotions, siuations and such that help someone having trouble coping with their anger to find a 'proper way to express their feelings'. The main problem is, there are so many ways that it could fail to come up with an answer, or god forbid the guy doesn't have it with him. How will he cope if he depends highly on the wheel? Good beginner tool, but useless to a point.

When I hear drywall was broken in a bathroom, my experience is that it means the towel bar was ripped from the wall again. Not because of violence per se' just due to shiatty construction and how towel bars are often mounted.

So when "moving" someone aside, it's natural they grabbed for the grab bar, the towel bar, and it ripped off the wall.

And as I said, and you didn't acknowledge, I fail to see how a victim of assault, when moving the assailant aside in self-defense to flee assault and disengage is then charged with assault himself.

If you reverse the sexes, and she shoved him aside so she could flee the bathroom from his punches, would you say she assaulted him?
