Of course, since they're all pasty white guys, they won't be charged with terrorism. |
||

| Magorn Not a big subscriber to the "entrapment defense" but has anyone noticed how lately, all the potentional terrorists, be they wanna-be jihadis, white supremacist militia guys, or hippie anachists all seem to be favoring the exact same method of attack and target selection? It's almost as if they all have the same people doing their planning for them or something... |

Perhaps I missed part of the article but... The individuals charged in this plot were intent on using violence to press their ideological views," said Stephen Anthony, FBI Special Agent-in-Charge. And those ideological views would be...? |

Apparently, the FBI. yeah, this exact thing happened in Chicago with the kid who put a bomb in Wrigleyville. its an odd strategy by the FBI. I dont think they would have ever gotten to the point of planting a bomb without the FBI planting the idea of them planting a bomb in their head. planting. |

Hahahhaahha....gasp...hahahah ....thud. I would have loved to see the look on their faces when they pushed the "go" button and the playdough just sat there, stupid, and unboomalishious, much like themselves. They really need to release the vid of the button press and happy ending. I have 0 problem with the FBI providing tards like this phony bombs. They had intent, and better that they got a playdough bomb, than real C4. Nobody got hurt, and 5 rejects are now behind bars, along with their moranic ideology. Good riddance. /High fives the FBI. |

Any bets on where they got the idea? Any bets on who sold them the "explosives". Any bets on how far their cunning plan would have actually gotten if it wasn't incubated by the FBI? Exactly. Terrorism, it ain't. I highly doubt that a bunch of dope addicts like those would have ever gotten past the "go to the 7-11 to get more Cheetos" phase if the FBI wasn't there to assist. I'm sure glad that threat is off the streets. |

Normally I'm against these FBI 'plan the attack and then arrest the guy we suckered into carrying it out' deals, but these guys obviously had plans of their own brewing, so no harm no foul. Also, they look like retards. |

"Setting someone up" to be a threat does not exoneratate the suspect when they prove that they are stupid enough / evil enough to carry it out. |

FTFA: "The suspects appeared in federal court Tuesday afternoon, where it was determined that all are eligible for a court-appointed attorney." Which means not one of them has even so much as a part-time job. |

you would think by now these groups would smarten up and try to at least make their own explosives or something. This ranks up there with looking for a hitman to kill your spouse. NEVER bring in outsiders! |

"Setting someone up" to be a threat does not exoneratate the suspect when they prove that they are stupid enough / evil enough to carry it out. I still see some kind of injustice in coercing low-level morons into thinking they're blowing something up for some noble cause, then arresting them. Of course they're evil enough to push the button. Lots of people are, especially stupid ones who you rallied to your beliefs. The smart ones are just all employed by the government to blow things up. It's like the "pedos" you see on Dateline. Of course they were going to take the bait when you acted like a 16-year old hottie who was "totally into their sexy body". Have you seen some of those guys? They couldn't get laid in a morgue. Nevermind the fact that no *real* 16-year old hottie would have ever talked to them in the first place. So the situation was a complete hypothetical. If it wasn't for the cops, there is no way either group of people would ever have been in either situation. Those jokers couldn't have gotten any farking C4, and the lame-asses on Dateline could have never gotten that close to a pretty 16-year old. You have to wonder where the crime really was. Entrapment, keeping America'sPrisons(tm) full and keeping RealMurricans scared shiatless since 1919. |
