They did a good job packaging him, I guess. He came off very cool. I volunteered for the Seau Foundation and quit after I saw him slap one of the other volunteers, hard, for not wearing the official event shirt even though it was a behind the scenes roll. Ran into Jim again at my local bar and he kept bumping into me and actually pushed me aside to get to the bar, very rudely, with the don't you know who I am attitude. That was when he was still married and he was there with another woman so i said "Where is your wife?" and he swung at me. There are more stories these are just the 2 that always stuck with me. Hell of a football player, shiatty human. B |

Dammit so much, I'll be out of town. I can recommend Rock Bottom in the Gascramp district; the roof is good because you can be fairly loud and no one cares, seats a good group. /why not hold this during Comic-Con (Jul 12-15)? |

Eclectic and I may be able to make it. I will add a vote for Shakespeare's, but someone might check and see if EPL or some other football (soccer) is playing. We wondered in there for a late lunch on a random weekday and the place was PACKED, due to Manchester United playing. |

I always figured there would be a core group of TFers that know each other and everyone else would be staring at their shoes. Who has been that could shed some light? |

All of you have your favorite bars, but what im interested in is this: I need to know drink prices (that aren't to expensive) places to sit down and talk, parking that can handle us, and how crowded these bars are. I am only really interested in GasLamp District Bars, because it is centrally located in San Diego, but I am also open to places close to the base.
