Well, not every Best Buy employee has the vast experience and intensive, hands-on training of a Geek Squad member. This guy's mistake was probably leaving his phone in the hands of a regular Best Buy employee, and some of those guys aren't supremely well qualified. It's like the bin Laden raid, really -- Obama could have assembled a strike team from regular Army members, and possibly 2 in 4 of them would have been really able to carry out the mission. Who goes to Best Buy to have anything repaired anyway? Buying a new phone.. fine even though they messed my plan up and I had to contact AT&T to have them put people back onto my family plan. Never have any of them try and repair something. I know a kid that is our Best Buy's tablet go to person and he can't even root his own tablet. He bricked it and had to go and get a new one.

My buddies and I have had ongoing facebook via smartphone wars for about 3 years now. Its amazing how long it took us all to figure out that if we don't want something ridiculous popping up on FB, we need to password protect our phones...

The rare good thing I have to say about Best buy is that when upgrading phones all rebates happen at the transaction, not a month down the road.
