All you have to do is read them. In it, you'll find that Jefferson considered himself not Christian, but "Deist". You'll also find his revulsion for organized religion, but more entertaining is you'll find his opinions on pre-revolution France. Quite a few similarities to what's going on in the US today.

Barton said, very clearly, in the interview that Jefferson abhorred most organized religion.

They offered to do service work, so I let them.

They haven't been back since. We were getting them every 3-6 months for 3 years, after having them work; no more missionaries.

We'll see if the trend continues this summer.
