My wife asks me last night: "Would you be freaked out if someone you were dating told you they were a post-op transsexual?" So now, I pose this question to you

LineNoise We have this question every week. Freak out? No. I don't think I would run around thinking I had cooties or caught the gay or something. End things right there with them. Yes.

| Ace Rockola
Anyone who is dating a transsexual knows they are dating a transsexual, on some level. |

| Mrs.Sharpier
no. I'm dating them because I like them, I would be happy and proud of them. that takes a lot of courage and strength to go through with. |

Shakespeare's Monkey No, but I'm odd that way.

the_rev Yes.

| DirtyDeadGhostofEbenezerCooke
Does her hoo-haw smell like Eckrich sausage? |

rostit If they were good enough to fool up to that point then whats the difference? you all are way too hung up on this type of thing. I bet most farkers havent gotten laid in years and would freak out if anyone wanted to touch their happy places.

themeaningoflifeisnot And what did subby learn about his wife last night? Don't leave us in suspense.

LineNoise I'd also wonder how I didn't notice someone was a transexual. I mean I know they are getting good at stuff like that, but they aren't THAT good.

Adjective Bird Whiskey No, but I do ask you let me reenact the shower scene from The Crying Game at least once, just for my own amusement.

Lucky LaRue Maybe. Is gay contagious?

GooberMcFly No. If they said they were a post-op trans-sexual and they just figured out that they're a lesbian, maybe.

the_rev I wouldn't "freak out" like throw my hands up and run around in circles screaming like a girl scout, but I would become single, right on the spot.

JRaynor Yeah, probably - it would be nice if I could be more...evolved (i guess that's the word) but, honestly, yeah. It would probably weird me out a bit. I'd also like to know what inspired the question

TheBeastOfYuccaFlats So long as we were getting along beforehand, I have no problem with this.

spcMike Oh goody, now the Liters can see all the fun we have.

Ponzholio Shouldn't gender reassignment add/remove the Adam's Apple?

twobux This is an OK Cupid question

rostit greenlight on this really? I mean come on admins. This is the same thread that gets posted every 4 days. At least green a new idea.

middleoftheday Mrs.Sharpier: This too, why do we have this question all the time? Not quite as often as "who would you 'go gay' for?" ugh

theflatline "damn this chicks cootch smalls like sweaty nutsack".

Lucky LaRue kxs401: Lucky LaRue: Maybe. Is gay contagious? Yes. If you have sex with a gay person, you catch it. Then I would be totally freaked out.

brap Mrs.Sharpier: LineNoise: We have this question every week. This too, why do we have this question all the time? Someone is apparently working through an issue. The whole "wife asked me thing" is a tranparent diversion, kind of like "well there is this friend of mine" thing.

Rain-Monkey Subby, I have news for you. You might want to sit down for this.

kxs401 rostit: skybreaker: Haha, y'alls a f*ggot. um we dont use that word around here. Its highly offensive to some of the poofs. Like we care what those queermos think.

generalDisdain My wife is a... so I am getting a kick out of these replies.

| Mrs.Sharpier
rostit: greenlight on this really? I mean come on admins. This is the same thread that gets posted every 4 days. At least green a new idea. seriously. way to go admins, show them how farking hung up TFD is on their sexuality! |

Raging Thespian I would honestly be fairly freaked out.

dhambrick Male to female or female to male? This is important...

Kyro That depends entirely on when exactly my Klondike bar shows up.

Actual Farking Mrs.Sharpier: rostit: greenlight on this really? I mean come on admins. This is the same thread that gets posted every 4 days. At least green a new idea. seriously. way to go admins, show them how farking hung up TFD is on their sexuality! Which TFer would make the hottest post-op tranny? Which post-op TFette's ersatz penis would you most like to jerk in a circle?

generalDisdain Green? LAME

| bigpete53
Not the submitter, but I know who the submitter is. This is a very real question by a very concerned TFer. Just know, kwame, that I will support you no matter what you choose to do. |

moogrum Who is teh bestest TFer Of All Time???

SushiJoe Well, I was all hot for Butch Angel till I saw his vagina. Oh, you said post-op. No, I wouldn't be freaked out at all as long as he or she was attractive enough. It takes a hell of a lot to go through transgenderation. They do it, because they want to outwardly be who they are inside. They deserve to be happy in their lives. What exactly do you have against hot women who used to have a penis and just want to be happy?

rostit granted its the person that you love, not necessarily their hardware. I say that because I honestly have never seen a post op vagoo that honestly looked like a real vagoo. I have seen some that were pretty dang close, but it was pretty obvious that it was an aftermarket and not OEM. I dont have a ton of experience in fake vaggos though. Mainly from TV and GIS.

OneFretAway Honestly? I'd be a little turned on. Don't judge me.

Kyro Part me of has a morbid curiosity toward the end result. I can't imagine any surgeon being THAT good of a craftsman to beat the Pepsi challenge. You'd know. And if you freak out on the first date with somebody who openly tells you their little secret well before you go beyond anything but talking, you're a dick.

MissFeasance Yes, probably. That's something I would want to find out before the whole dating thing commences.

Just know, kwame, that I will support you no matter what you choose to do. I'm not sure that an afternoon working with an exacto knife and a glue gun really constitutes an "operation," but whatever. |

BusketsMcBride Nope, I can see those man hands a mile away.

I can't imagine they do much better with the aftermarket ween. |

| bigpete53
Well, poop. Sorry bro. Didn't realize this was going green. |

| thejoyofpi
If I already like them in that way, I don't see how finding out about a surgery would make any difference |

| cackylacky
I'd like to think I wouldn't. But, I don't really know. |

What if they tell you while they are standing at the communal urinal next to you? |

the_rev Kyro: And if you freak out on the first date with somebody who openly tells you their little secret well before you go beyond anything but talking, you're a dick. Well yeah. If it was a first date, I would just say "damn dude, that is amazing! I'm glad you told me!" and then we'd go have a beer or whatever.
