It's not WKQX anymore, it switched call letters after ditching Q101 and becoming a news station. "We wanted to have something that we thought would be fun and get people's attention," said John Gehron, a spokesman for radio company Merlin Media LLC, which is run by former Tribune Co. Chief Executive Officer Randy Michaels. Yeah, a year after you launched the news station which now has ratings that rival Spanish Gospel stations. Brilliant marketing move! |

Ironic, in that when he was Governor, Rod spent a lot of his time trying to put his name and face on everything in Chicago and Illinois, from kid care, to the tollways - and he used state money for most of it. Funny that his lawyer says he thinks it's illegal to use Rod's face. Sorry Sheldon, go back to 1-L, his face is public domain on account of who he is and what he's done. There's not a damn thing you can do about the billboard. |
