Holy Fark! I'll be in Chicago that week. Gonna see Roger Waters' "Wall" concert with my bro on the 8th. Not sure if I'll be able to make it to the Fark Party, but we'll see.

Used to work at the Guitar Center just down the road, so I know it well. I may try to make it, but I don't/ won't drink $30 worth (unlike most Farkers). As long as that's not an only way you're getting in fee, I might be down.

I am sure what you meant to say is, "A Fark Party in one of the most amazing and friendly cities in the US, complete with a wide range of ages, colors, and creeds."

I say this because I've been to a lot of Fark parties, I used to live in Chicago, and I've never been involved in a circle jerk.

Kudos on the location. I spent a LOT of time in the Hidden Shamrock years ago.

Couple of miles, $25 or so cab fare. but you could take the red/brown line trains pretty easy.

If they don't move my corporate department move to that weekend from Fathers Day weekend I just might make my 3rd Fark Party.

And $30 for 3 hours of drinking in a decent Chicago bar is a bargain.

Just checking in to vouch for Bukharin. Great guy, great host, I've been in the shiatiast bars in NY and Las Vegas and still had a fooking fantastic time. Bonus he looks like a throwback beatnik from Roger Corman's Bucket of Blood which is too cool for school in my book.


Don't biatch about the venue, show up, and you may have the same experience I've had.
