Is it ever explained how Tony Stark is able to pull such wild manoeuvres in his suit without passing out from the G forces? Cause at times he accelerates and turns at crazy speeds and angles yet he always remains concious. Just wondering if it's ever explained in the comics or if it's kinda just ignored.

My favorite part of the movie was when I realized the plot was exactly the same as transformers dark of the moon. Even down to both sides fighting over an energon cube.
I lied, my favorite part was SJH's ass lovingly wrapped in tight spandex.

I liked the CGI version of the Hulk from the 2008 movie a little better. Seemed more proportioned or something.

But yea Hulk stole the show in The Avengers. The other one I liked was when Captain America is barking out orders to the assembled team and gets to hulk and just says "Hulk? *points upward* Smash". That grin that the Hulk gives before jumping away was so awesomely devious looking.

And the other great scene is when Hulk and Thor have just brought down that worm thing and they are standing next to each other looking in the same direction and Hulk "calmly" punches Thor in the side of the head and sends him flying.

While that certainly was a fine image ... I think Cobie Smulders' ass actually one-upped her.

Watch the movie again and report back. I think you'll find Cobie's curves quite impressive.

I agree that "Hulk, Smash" works much better in the imperative. It's been too long since I was in a theater that cheered so much at a movie. It was awesome.

The article was about technologies that we currently have that are along the same lines as the 'super' ones shown in the movie (except much weaker of course). One example being Stark's Iron Man suit being compared to the US military's exoskeleton which gives increased carrying capacity.

2) I share a first name with Hawkeye. It's not a common first name. This may be the first movie I've seen with a character that shares my name. It's weird to hear Scarlett Johansson saying my name while looking into the camera.

PS) this is the first time I watched a movie in 3d. Surprisingly it didn't trigger my motion sickness, but it sure is distracting. I didn't like it.

Unless they power up Thor and Hulk to some of their comic incarnation's more ridiculous levels, I can't see him having the gauntlet. Maybe in Avengers 2, one of the gems will be on Earth, and that's what they'll fight over.

2 things that bothered me:

1. when Hawkeye was attacking the helicarrier and shot the arrow that curved around, yet was still able to puncture the helicarrier.

2. Stan Lee's cameo. that was stupid. of course it was expected, but his line about there not being superheroes in NYC? gimme a break, nobody was denying that there are superheroes, hell, the whole fight was caught on various cameras and apparently was broadcast worldwide, I don't think that that is a conspiracy.

I was impressed with how balanced the story was with all the heroes. You could walk away saying that it was a good Hulk movie, or a good Iron Man 3 movie...

and yes, I'm all aboard the SJH ass and the delicious curves of Cobie Smulders. but it was also nice to see Jenny Agutter on the screen (a member of the council). now that brought happy memories back to my penis.
