I expected something more steampunk

I am no art critic, but in my humble opinion this is conceptually as dull as the execution. I've seen far more interesting different takes on the Star Wars world on Deviant Art alone. Calling these pieces "daring" is a joke.

Also how does the Yoda image which looks like the cover of a 70's sci-fi novella fit in?

Maybe it's just me, but I think the "Victorian / Steampunk Star Wars" thing has been played out, and not very well.

Formula for Nerd Blog Fame:

1. Pick a beloved franchise (Star Wars, Mario, Star Trek, etc.)

2. Pick a beloved genre/style or other franchise (steampunk, western, fantasy, He-Man, Thundercats, etc.)

3. Combine them.

4. Show fellow nerds. Enjoy pats on the back and requests for t-shirts.

5. Repeat.
