From the school's page: Oakwood students will be transported to Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School this afternoon, where students will be transported home on their normal bus. Students may arrive home slightly late.

All in all, it was a pretty mixed day:

1. School is canceled
2. ???
3. Get home late

This happened at my daughter's elementary school in NEPA last Friday. She was on a field trip during the situation though.

Hey- you mock Taco Tuesday- teachers go apeshiat for that stuff. Food and Nutrition has to order about 40% more ingredients for the faculty dining rooms, and even the kids eat far more of it than they do the other non-pizza lunches.

I guess I kinda forgot about the kid version of taco tuesday. I just know the adult version where every bar/cantina/restaurant in san diego county has dollar tacos and cheap drinks every tuesday. Its like an all day happy hour
