Farker dj4aces has type 1 diabetes. He is suffering from diabetic retinopathy, which are burst blood vessels in his eyes.
His left eye has been blind since early February, but now he has also gone blind in his right eye.
He needs any and all help farkers can provide. Since he is blind he cannot work and as his work
has provided no insurance, he has difficulty even paying current bills.

An outpatient procedure is available that will cost around $5000.
The sooner he can pay for the procedure, the more chance he has of saving his sight.

His next doctors appointment is June 4th.

If you're meaning he should go to the ER, then no. Outpatient procedures aren't something you can have done in the ER.

If you're meaning he should go to the ER, then no. Outpatient procedures aren't something you can have done in the ER.

I'm saying that most medical procedures you have to cover up front are either expirimental, unecessary or have low success rates.

I've been hearing that more and more for-profit hospitals will not to elective procedures without being paid up front. Does surgery for diabetic retinopathy fall into the "elective procedure" category? Unfortunately it can. Because you can live without your eyesight.
