| Willie Nelson, tell us what you really think. Obvious tag currently sporting panda eyes, distracted by Doritos. Mmm... Doritos |

The man is pure, distilled, concentrated, 200-proof awesomeness. |

| FirstNationalBastard Red Headed Stranger may have been his breakout album, but his three albums before that one, Yesterday's Wine, Shotgun Willie, and Phases and Stages, were just as good. Oh, and, legalize it. |

Willie Nelson is a pretty cool guy and doesn't afraid of tetrahydrocannabinol. |

My dad loves Sinatra and hates Willie with a passion. I've got to let him know that he was Sinatra's favorite singer. /assuming Frank didn't say that to every singer he worked with just to get them to work better... |

I'm a second-degree black belt in taekwondo and also kung fu, so I'm a martial artist and I'm not afraid of trouble. waits to troll town to call him an ITG... he can say what he wants to while he's running for office, but once he gets in there, there are four or five guys who take him into a small room, sit him round a small table and say: "Look, cowboy, here's the way it is." Which is exactly what happened to Obama. Lokee heah, boa, we done already signed the paper werk with the car mafia, and iffin yew know wat's gud fer ewe, You'll just do us a li'l dance rat now. Don't get me wrong, I'll be voting for Obama for a second time. I just believe they have their own brand of free kool-aid in DC. |

Got to love it when Lefties talk about how the President can't really do much but, but, but, Bush's fault! |

Be sure and tell your dad that Sinatra was a booze-hound, and booze kills more people in a day than weed will ever do. I think Ralphie May said it best: Nobody ever died from smoking weed. Now you may choke on your Taco Bell, but that's the worst that may happen. |

FTFA Nelson is a proud and inveterate weed smoker. As recently as November 2010 he was arrested for possession, but the prosecutor agreed such a small amount for personal use merited only a fine. The small amount in question was 6oz. In other words if anyone else had been caught with this there would be jail time but Willie would have demanded a jury trial because he knows no Jury in the US would convict him of possession and make some serious headlines to boot with his acquittal. |

Indeed. In fact if it was anybody else, they would say 6 ounces would be enough to charge with 'intent to distribute' |

May as well make it legal, it's completely harmless, hell it's a plant that grows naturally for christ sake. |

There are lots of plants that "grow naturally" and are anything but harmless. See: belladonna, nighshade, castor beans, hemlock, and a thousand others. Just stick with the personal freedom and comparison to tobacco arguments and you'll be fine. |

Prostitution and marijuana are two things I have never used. And two things I do not see why they are illegal. Of course, I have seen legalized prostitution that is clean and well regulated (Subic bay) and marijuana without the bad criminal element that it is associated with it here in the states. |

roadkillontheweb: Prostitution and marijuana are two things I have never used. And two things I do not see why they are illegal.. Pot is illegal because the Cartels don't want it to be legal. They know that once a substance is made legal, the prices will drop and the Cartels will lose business and money. So basically they pay off enough politicians to continue to wage the war on drugs. |

Best Willie Nelson weed story ever: My brother is a musician and toured with Willie Nelson on the same bus in the 90s. Ike Turner was hitching a ride with them for some reason, even handing out flyers advertising his 900 number where you could call in and hear "The real story about Ike and Tina Turner." Willie had a nice bag of weed and was looking for a place to clean it. Once he saw Ike's glossy flyer, he shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't think Ike'll mind" and used it as a tray. |
