||
| Yes this is dog Has Nancy Grace found the murderer yet? |
||
| violentsalvation So subby just NOW decided to write this headline? Cripes she has been missing for a long time. Hope they find her safe and soon. |
||

At this point, she may not need her medication anymore. /why can't Nancy Grace disappear without a trace |

You know, once or twice, it's interesting or ironic or odd or whatever, but damn this shiat has to stop. The damn media needs to decide all missing individuals deserve attention or nobody gets mentioned. And don't give me that lame excuse about limited resources or limited attention spans of the audience. One friggin less article about the Kardashians is not going to kill anybody. |
||
| MagSeven Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! According to the Zimmerman/any black person does anything wrong threads, this isn't supposed to have been reported. Are we making great strides as a nation? /I'm too scared to celebrate! |
||

Link But the media isn't reporting about the roving bands of lawless blacks who are starting a race war so I guess its even. Seriously, anyone who utters the words "race war" needs to be punched in the throat |

The article doesn't say when they reported it to the police, or when they started putting up fliers. Let's not jump to conclusions. I think the media would have been happy to write about this as soon it was clear she was missing. |

It's OK everyone. She's dead. |

We need a national PSA campaign about this important issue: Girls with chubby cheeks should never ever make duck lips in photos. It looks like they are about to spit a mouthful of something all over the camera. Not good. Spread the word, people. |

Or if we go with the first, just have missing child notices roll during the credits or something, don't waste time that could contain actual news on them. |

the media doesnt choose which missing kids to report on. It comes from press releases and whatever info police departments want to release. So if you want to be mad at specific police jurisdictions for contacting local news stations and saying "hey this hot white college student is missing, here's her picture", go ahead. |

So it just happens that the pretty white girls, the ones that drive news ratings much more than other missing kids, are seemingly the only ones the Police are forwarding to the media? Yes, this is all the fault of the Police. Indeed. And I have this very nice bridge to sell, should you be interested in such... |

The ones that get reported on are the ones with available pictures and info, and the families are willing to talk. Have you ever seen a story about a missing girl followed by "sorry we don't have any pictures or sound bytes from families." The missing ones come from families that are willing to be media whores to get their children back. |

All families want their missing kids back, but only the cute, white girls manage to make national news. |

Judging by the duck face pics, nothing of value was lost, and therefor not newsworthy. |

I really am sick and tired of race mattering. If someone is missing it should not matter. She is some ones daughter, sister, etc. It's a life. The coverage and sense of urgency should be the same no matter what the heritage/race/whatever. I hate to think its true, but I do think if you are black or Mexican, some ass clowns tinks its back page news. Its disgusting. Its criminal almost even. |

This article does not inform me she is missing, but rather still missing. The same comments back then haven't helped find her, maybe we should think of something else. |

Yes they want their kids back, but when a news crew shows up at the door, most of the time they get a door slammed in their face. And it's not specific to race. People are idiots and don't realize that sometimes the media is your friend. |

cherryl taggart: You know, once or twice, it's interesting or ironic or odd or whatever, but damn this shiat has to stop. The damn media needs to decide all missing individuals deserve attention or nobody gets mentioned. Around 2100 kids a day are reported missing. Setting up a "Missing Kids Channel" might be the only way to do what you are suggesting. It's true, the media does like to ignore news about brown kids. . . and it's farking disgusting how people of color are devalued in so many ways by our society. But how to address it? (Other than fundamentally re-engineering our society, that is.) |

Well local news stations could report on local cases of missing children, regardless of the child's/parent's appearance. The use of amber alerts is very effective as well. And Nancy Grace could choke on a bag of d*cks |

Right. The media is so against minorities. That's why they buried the Trayvon Martin story and wouldn't stop showing video of the white guy who was beaten and stripped by a black mob in Baltimore. Oh, wait... |
||
| Mr. Right
Apparently the media believes this is not news the same way black on black crime isn't news but white on black crime creates a media frenzy. So, if you are a young black girl and want your disappearance to be on the news, you need to arrange to be abducted by a white guy. If he has a van with a swastika, KKK, or skinhead stuff on it: bonus points. If you could arrange to be abducted by a middle-aged white guy with a Tea Party sticker on his SUV, Obama will federalize and mobilize the national guard in your state to find you. But if you're just going to go quietly missing, apparently you're on your own. |

That's why they buried the Trayvon Martin story and wouldn't stop showing video of the white guy who was beaten and stripped by a black mob in Baltimore. Oh, wait... oh wait, the media ignored Trayvon for a month until there was a public firestorm and then proceeded to cover the resulting insanity non-stop (racists are seriously losing their shiat right now it seems) because of....RATINGS! But oh no! one of the thousands of non-fatal assaults that happen everyday isn't all over the news. but..but... he was white |
