That reminds me: I have to watch the Observer-centric episode from the just concluded Fringe season.

My friend told me that the movie "Titanic" was based on some boat sinking, but I don't know if it's true.

MIB have been mainstream in the Alien Abductee mythology for decades. As a fan of conspiracy/paranormal rantings, I knew instantly what the first MIB movie was based on. I'm amazed that there are people who didn't.

Does this mean I spend too much time in the dark, crazy corners of the internet (not counting FARK)?

It's like people forgot about the X-Files or Dark Skies or any of the hundreds of books about MIBs.

In the article, the part about about the strange, pale MIB with lipstick on, sounds like total bullshiat.

Yeah, and as someone who knew who the MIB were ages before the movie came out there's a little part of me that wants to believe these films are propaganda to get the public to accept the real MIB who, despite their depictions, do NOT have the best interests of earth and humanity in mind.

"Alex Trebec? The game show host?!"

His partner was Jesse Ventura.

The article mentions they appear to be perfectly tailored suits.

Clearly suits of that quality don't come from Men's Warehouse....

You could say they're otherworldly in their quality.

Is it the same little part of you that actually believes there are "real MIB" going around trying to keep people from talking about UFOs?

Trolling or dumb? You 'knew' who the MIB were? You think that crappy Will Smith movies are propaganda? ...and you understand the motives of the 'real' Men in Black? I can't decide whether to laugh at a good troll, or feel bad because you are insane.

I didn't realize the MIB figured so heavily into UFO mythology. I thought the movie was a comedic take on the x-files or something.

So what I learned from this article is that HuffPo was contracted to write a fluff piece to promote MiB but the writer couldn't think of a damn thing to say about it.

I guess it just depends on what you read... as a kid, I was obsessed with UFO literature, and I knew about the MiB long before the films arrived. I was actually creeped out that they'd make those guys the heroes of a movie since, well, they're agents of terror in the UFO story.

Anyhow, MiB the film is actually based off a comic book from the early 1990s. The movie was better than the comics.

That's a silly name for a porn, it tells me almost nothing. Of course there are men in back, that's hardly even worth mentioning. I need to know who is in front.

Men in Barack OTOH, that tells me what's up.

These reports are very detailed and obvious BS if you look at them closely

as an example

FTA 1967: Robert Richardson was driving his car at night in Toledo, Ohio, when he hit something, which, he claimed, then vanished. He found a piece of metal that he believed originated from the mysterious thing he hit. A few days later, two men, wearing black hats and sunglasses and driving a black 1953 Cadillac, visited Richardson at his home at 11 p.m. to ask questions.

1) No piece of Detroit Iron built in 1953 would still be running 14 years later without extensive overhaul. The type of technology to get a 53 Caddy running after is not even known today

2) No real government agent works at 11:00 pm, heck, they barely put in part time hours

So you can see, obviously a fake story

I had a teacher who told a story of hitting a UFO with his car. It was night and he claims whatever it was was unlit and he didn't see it at all. He went unconscious, came to in the ambulance and they never found whatever it was that he totaled his car against.

It was probably a drunk driver hit and run without his/her headlights on.

You'd think so, but clearly you missed the part of the article describing it as a chilling encounter. I know I got goosebumps when the alien man ran out of batteries.
