I was called to jury duty a few years back. It was a drunk driving case. Adam Reposa was defense counsel. I could tell he was absolutely batshiat insane during jury selection. I got cut (I'm also a lawyer and that's almost automatic).

At the time, he had a website that said things like, "Adam Reposa was taught to kick ass at the age of three." There were a whole slough of other things on his site that the State Bar objected to and they made him take it down. Later on, he did a bunch of outrageous shiat in open court (including feigning masturbation to the judge while opposing counsel was talking). He was fairly severly disciplined for that and, I think, tried for contempt of court. I heard he had some substance abuse problems.

Quite a character.

If this guy isn't a fake, he needs to be.

I don't know Mr. Reposa and have never seen him practice. But a lot of criminal defendants think that brash, in-your-face, loud, obnoxious, aggressive, and uncompromising behavior is the hallmark of a good attorney. If this ad is real, I would not be surprised if it brings in a lot of business for Mr. Reposa.
