Phone police? |
||
| Vangor Badly shaken, the driver of the other vehicle had trouble dialing police. A passerby who offered to help made off with his iPhone, police said. Not to say the driver does not deserve this, but imagine this happening to the nun. The thief just preyed on someone during an accident. Hope the thief gets struck by a car who drives off. |

Badly shaken, the driver of the other vehicle had trouble dialing police. Nice way to delay treatment of the injured. How is this amusing to anyone other than a serial killer or a thirty-something submitter that still likes to use a magnifying glass to pop pill bugs? |

I submitted this with a funnier headline. Exact same link too! |

"Hey is that an iPhone 4S you're trying to dial the police on? Here, let me dial them for you, you just relax." |

I normally don't condone theft, but if the wreck happened because the driver using said phone, then I say "GOOD!" |

Lost Thought 00: Getting your phone stolen totally makes up for you being a murderer "The victim, 60, had minor injuries but was taken to hospital as a precaution." Amazing reading comprehension there, slim. |

||
| Smeggy Smurf Lost Thought 00: Getting your phone stolen totally makes up for you being a murderer The next step is to use the stolen phone to make death threats against government officials after downloading child porn. If you're going to fark with somebody, do it right. |

At least the guy had the decency to stop and try to get help. |

"The robbery suspect, described as black, with a skinny build and braids, was last seen running south on Keele St." |
||
| Vangor leevis: At least the guy had the decency to stop and try to get help. Yeah, I kind of figured this was someone who tried to flee the scene and there was some strange story of vigilantism behind this which lead to his arrest, but nope. Guy stopped, was too shaken to call, and someone preyed on someone else during an accident. |

No, no, no. It's like rock, paper, scissors. The phone robber needs to get his nose broken by a nun. Of course in the standard game of "car, nun, robber", people who know each other will tie upwards of 75-80 percent of the time. That's why I recommend, "car, nun, robber, wino, cop". |

Yes - but you have to opt-in for it to work. /the Find My iPhone app //hitting nuns doesn't require opt-in Yeah - and it's the only thing I specifically opted in for. It's worth it to me to find my iPad and/or iPhone whenever I lay it down somewhere in the house and start panicking after 15 minutes of looking. /The Find my iPhone app, that is. The nuns have no business knowing my location when I hit them. |

The water was cold: I normally don't condone theft, but if the wreck happened because the driver using said phone, then I say "GOOD!" It doesn't matter if he was using the phone or not. He ran a red light. That is worse. |

| SN1987a goes boom
So this guy comes upon an accident scene, offers to help and robs those involved. If the nun had died, would the robber face culpibility in the death? I mean the red light runner obviously didn't mean to hurt anyone and did in fact stop. The nun was a victim twice over. |

I don't see where it says that the passerby didn't call for help. |

Happy Hours: The water was cold: I normally don't condone theft, but if the wreck happened because the driver using said phone, then I say "GOOD!" It doesn't matter if he was using the phone or not. He ran a red light. That is worse. Not if he missed the red light BECAUSE he was looking at the cell phone, instead of paying attention to the road. I don't know if this is, in fact, the case (It's what I suspect). That's why I was being generous by saying "if". |

Benevolent Misanthrope: Yeah - and it's the only thing I specifically opted in for. It's worth it to me to find my iPad and/or iPhone whenever I lay it down somewhere in the house and start panicking after 15 minutes of looking. Same. Also useful for when you drop the iPhone in a snow bank in front of your house or in Vegas and some ass picks it up and flies back to a suburb in LA. /I lose shiat often //my iPhone 3G stayed in a snow bank for a month and still worked when I discovered it when the snow melted |

And they're all Degrassi cast members. Hard times for those kids if they're stealing phones now. |
