Unfortunately TFA is not about the formation of thunderstorms, it is kind of, but they are trying to detect ozone and chemical composition of the atmosphere at the top of a storm to see what is 'sucked up' from the surface and how much ozone is generated by lightning cooking the air / pollutants. Would be cool if it was the anatomy of the storm from start to finish....but it's not.
