| Mugato Funny how they had to consolidate all the Tea bagger signs into one link. |
||
| xanadian "Amercia." Well, his Daddy was Mexican, and "Amercia" *sounds* Spanish, so.... |
||
| xanadian Ah, yes, #9 is a favorite meme here on Fark... |

Hey...you got your (spelling) Nazis in my politics. |

Mugato: Funny how they had to consolidate all the Tea bagger signs into one link. The list is "10 greatest", not "10,000 most idiotic"... |

Just happy that Morans made the list. Always a classic in my book. |

I don't know how funny this thread really is. I still can't get over the pitching matchup between two pricks today. The Washington Nationals' Wang goes up against the Miami Marlins' Johnson. |

How the hell was Descent: the Highest Form of Patriotic not on the list? |
||
| Philip Francis Queeg
In 2010, an Illinois Green Party gubernatorial candidate name's was spelled "Rich Whitey" on electronic voting machines stationed in numerous majority-black Chicago wards. My personal favorite. |
||
| Gyrfalcon The fact that people "don't care" about a few misspellings only speaks to the total success of the dumbing down of America. Or I guess it's now Amercia. |
||
| LineNoise Wasn't "get a brain morans" guy actually a comedian or someone doing a counter protest, or a bit, and the whole thing was intentional? |

Am I correct in seeing that all of these are misspellings by Republicans? Do Dems never misspell words? (The Rich Whitey mistake isn't attributable to any particular party.) |

drb9: Am I correct in seeing that all of these are misspellings by Republicans? Do Dems never misspell words? (The Rich Whitey mistake isn't attributable to any particular party.) No. Did you even read tfa? |
||
| LineNoise drb9: Am I correct in seeing that all of these are misspellings by Republicans? Do Dems never misspell words? (The Rich Whitey mistake isn't attributable to any particular party.) Read. It was a green party candidate in a black district. How can you not say republicans weren't behind trying to prevent people from voting for him. |

| Pixiest Philip Francis Queeg: In 2010, an Illinois Green Party gubernatorial candidate name's was spelled "Rich Whitey" on electronic voting machines stationed in numerous majority-black Chicago wards. My personal favorite. In fairness, how many Greens AREN'T Rich Whiteys who feel guilty about being both? |

drb9: Am I correct in seeing that all of these are misspellings by Republicans? Do Dems never misspell words? (The Rich Whitey mistake isn't attributable to any particular party.) 7. An attack ad against Republican Scott Brown authorized by Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley and paid for by the state's Democratic Party spelled the state the two were competing to represent in the Senate as "Massachusettes." The error became the least embarrassing aspect of the Coakley campaign. |

Of course Obama misspells Syracuse on ESPN. and thanks a supporter for "good advise" and tells of his "Twitters" account Probably won't make the list at Comedy Central, though. |

LineNoise Read. It was a green party candidate in a black district. How can you not say republicans weren't behind trying to prevent people from voting for him. They wouldn't have gotten the joke? |

President Obama will do something about this after he rests up from touring the Polish death camps. |

Give the poor guy a break. English is a second language for the Indian or Chinese programmers to which his campaign off-shored the app development. Just like he'll be doing as president. |
||
| Philbb LineNoise: Wasn't "get a brain morans" guy actually a comedian or someone doing a counter protest, or a bit, and the whole thing was intentional? I've heard that claim. I've never found any such information though, just speculation. |

Not that I want to dwell on anything relating to Santorum's pubic schedule, but come on, it should have been obvious to put him at #2. |

My personal favorite. That one and the 'SANTORUM'S PUBIC SCHEDULE' one at #3, I'm torn between which one is truly funnier. It's not east to do, they both make me lol... |

Bigger things to worry about than some staffer who rushed a stupid tweet. Right. Because overzealous staffers and Twitter are so responsible for political signs, ad campaigns, misspelled ballots, press passes; plus, how "rushed" do you have to be to misspell your own country, state or name? It's stupidity, carelessness, and what's even sadder is that people say "there are bigger things to worry about." OK, how about the state of education in Amercia? Get used to the spelling, because it's really nothing to worry about. |

Mugato: Serious Black: How the hell was Descent: the Highest Form of Patriotic not on the list? The tea party signs were too many. It's in the thread linked in #2. Maybe they should have just said we're pre-emptively not using any of the Tea Party signs because they would easily take every spot in the top 20 on their own. |

I'm partial to that Indiana group against the "Libary" referendum. |
||
| Parthenogenetic Serious Black: How the hell was Descent: the Highest Form of Patriotic not on the list? Perhaps it is because none of those words are misspelled. It is true that the (correctly spelled) words make no sense when combined in that sentence, but that is an issue with grammar, rather than spelling. ![]() As opposed to, say: |

cirby: President Obama will do something about this after he rests up from touring the Polish death camps. I believe he's going to award a medal to a navy corpse-man then make campaign stops in all 57 states. |

| Vlad_the_Inaner LineNoise: Read. It was a green party candidate in a black district. How can you not say republicans weren't behind trying to prevent people from voting for him. Are you saying the Republicans would have preferred the people of that district to vote instead for the party more commonly associated with their demographic? |
||
| Mugato Parthenogenetic: It is true that the (correctly spelled) words make no sense when combined in that sentence, but that is an issue with grammar, rather than spelling. No, professor, it's because the Tea party has its own link. If they listed them all separately the list would be unmanageable. |

Even if what you wrote is a properly spelled word, It is not the word you were trying to spell. In other words, you'd get booted from the spelling bee for that. |

Let's see how the analysis breaks down: 1 out of 10: Moran 1 out of 10: Democrat 1 out of 10: Green Party 1 out of 10: Tea Party 6 out of 10: Republicans Surprising results, with no discernable bias whatsoever. Remember Obama mispronouncing "corpsman"? |
