Nothing to worry about. That was probably a NYC storm. They roll over every now and then to spit some lightning and grumble, but know well enough to get back on their side of the bridge before causing any real trouble.

Machismo in action - I've seen it a hell of a lot of times, usually around outdoor sporting events. Thunderstorm approaches, lightning everywhere, people out in the open, one or two people say "this isn't a good idea" and get called pussies for their concern.

You won't catch me dead outside during a thunderstorm.

Idiots. Too many times people waste precious time waiting/wondering if they should react and by the time it becomes apparent they need to move it's too late.
