| Mugato You all do realize that political satirists rip on everyone on both side of the fence. It's not their fault that the right provides the most comedy fodder. |
||
| FlashHarry so jon stewart is ok now, wingnuts? |
||
| kingoomieiii What do you mean "Even"? Stewart rips on stupidity regardless of politics, you brainwashed prick. |
||
| LasersHurt I remember that. When it happened. Days ago. |
||
| The_Sponge Have you ever seen Jon Stewart rip on liberals.....ON WEED? |
||
| monoski
Always said the Daily Show does not care left or right they will bust your balls. It just so happens it is so much easier to bust balls on the right these days. |
||
| Wooly Bully He ripped on some idiots, not on "the left", TROLL.COM |
||
| CPennypacker
He ripped EVERYONE for their reactions. |
||
| Rent Party
Stewart rips on all stupidity. That 95% of stupidity is generated by the right wing seems to be the point you're missing, subtard. The remaining 5% gets it when it's due. |

Jon Stewart: Liberal Hack |
||
| Citrate1007
He was interviewing someone from Bain Capital last night....no satire just straight discussion....worth watching for both pro/anti Romney folks. Kind of ends in a stalemate. |

| LasersHurt Citrate1007: He was interviewing someone from Bain Capital last night....no satire just straight discussion....worth watching for both pro/anti Romney folks. Kind of ends in a stalemate. Much in the way that arguing with most walls ends in a stalemate. |

But he said he was a socialist so that negates everything he says. Forever. |

I meant stalemate in the sense of both sides got their points across and it was refreshing to see a civil discussion as apposed to partisan hyperbole, but I forgot this is friday on fark politics tab. Oh and Stewart made the Bain vulture look like a shill and it will cost Romney the election. /better? |

I haven't seen any actual butthurt. Just conservatives wanting to believe there's butthurt. Just like they want to believe Obama's not going to win Wisconsin in November. |

The_Sponge: Have you ever seen Jon Stewart rip on liberals.....ON WEED? He gets less and less funny when he's on weed. Case in point: His MTV days. |
||
| Marcus Aurelius See, if he could just do this all the time, he'd be A-OK with ignorant brain addled drool covered conservative voters everywhere. |
||
| Rashnu
Jon Stewart sometimes comes off as fawningly annoying in his at times misguided attempts to show how fair and equal opportunity he is. NPR suffers from the same tendency. Colbert is funnier, imo, although his interruptive interview style can be grating. /not butthurt in the slightest |
||
| Emposter
RCP seems confused by the concept that some people espouse criticism when it's deserved, regardless of which side the target is on, rather than ignoring reality to root for your team. Gosh, I wonder why that would be. |
||
| wee In my world you're either left or right. THERE IS NO MIDDLE, YOU HEAR? |

He points out stupid things, but the right far more often does stupid things so they have the spotlight more. |

Citrate1007: He was interviewing someone from Bain Capital last night....no satire just straight discussion....worth watching for both pro/anti Romney folks. Kind of ends in a stalemate. I didn't expect that interview to be FORTY FIVE MINUTES LONG so I had to leave the rest until after work. What I particularly liked was the "Oh shiat, he actually read the book!" look on the Bain guy's face. |

Stewart's whole "calm down everyone, both sides are bad" narrative doesn't really fit with protesting, recalling, etc. I'm pretty annoyed he can't seem to see the difference between Tea Partiers screaming about gubmint out of my Medicaid and people in a state standing up to a governor who lied to them about workers rights, but so be it.. I guess he's gotta make fun of someone. |

Yeah, my impression around Madison (which you would think would be butthurt central) is just an overwhelming feeling of "Well, ok you farkers, we tried to warn you..you have fun with that job losing, environment destroying, criminal asshole". We flipped the Senate so Walker can't do anything too crazy for at least a little while and hopefully he'll be in jail before he gets the chance to do anything too damaging. |

I didn't expect that interview to be FORTY FIVE MINUTES LONG so I had to leave the rest until after work. What I particularly liked was the "Oh shiat, he actually read the book!" look on the Bain guy's face. I don't think Stewart gets nearly enough credit for this. He has the ability to call guests on their bullshiat contradictions and always seems quite prepared for these types of interviews. Too bad he doesn't do it more often. |

Jon Stewart ripped on Anthony Weiner over Weinergate...and they were college buddies. He'll rip on anyone and anything as long as he thinks it's funny. As he should. |

I was talking about the interview from last night's Daily Show, which should be painfully obvious. I was making a dig at the ONE, SPECIFIC GUY. That should also be painfully obvious. My point was that your "angry at the left" response was entirely inappropriate. I was complaining about one, specific guy, who was wall-like in his conversation with Jon Stewart. |

See, that's the part of 'fair and balanced' that so many people get wrong. The Daily Show will point out stupidity and hypocrisy on both sides, equally. Just because one side does this 85% of the time does not make it unbalanced. |

The senate is not in session for Wisconsin until after the next state senate elections. It does nothing aside from changing who gets pay and benefits for 5 months. But keep propping up that "win." |

Wait, so liberals overreacted to the recall election in a bizarre and absurd way and Jon Stewart made fun of them? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! It's almost as though he wasn't lying when he told Chris Wallace "I never said I was 'only' a comedian, I said I was a comedian FIRST.' |
