Other than the missing Our Fair City between Cambridge and MA that headline was perfect subby.

This headline brought to you by our Russian headline writer Ivana Greenlightova

This headline didn't get the green?? Can we scrape together enough cash to have Dewey, Cheatham & Howe appeal the decision?

From the redlit thread:

English is not my wife's first language, and with those Bahstin accents, she can't understand a word they say. So to her, it sounds like nonsensical babbling frequently interspersed with insane laughter. Her imitation of them is hysterical.

I know this news will make her said, and I'm not even sure she knows it's a show about car advice.

I lost a greenlight over this, but I acknowledge the superiority of your headline, Subby.

NPR is still going to broadcast old episodes in the same time slot, so at least you'll still be able to get your fix, and with 25 years of shows to pull from, I'm pretty sure you'll usually be hearing something you haven't heard before.

I like them too. But they're in their 70s. Can't blame them for wanting to retire. Thanks, Click and Clack, and don't drive like my brother. (Really. My brother can literally make people ill with his driving.)

NPR needs to take a page from PBS and start importing BBC shows. Back to back Just a Minute and The Unbelievable Truth would be a great hour long block on a Saturday morning. Now that they have a gaping hole in their schedule, filled in only by reruns, this is the perfect opportunity.

/I'll always remember helping my dad out in the garage when I was a kid while these guys were on the radio. Tanks for the mammaries, guys.

What a bittersweet headline to read. The best thing about driving to the shooting range on Saturday morning was listening to "Car Talk" on the way out, and "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" on the way back. I, and my yet-to-be-born son, will miss Tom and Ray. Thanks for the...well...everything!

I'm Glad to know I'm not the only person who totally does not get that show's appeal.

It feels like what WWDTM would be if it had no charisma or panelists.

Gonna miss Click and Clack, but given that I started listening 5 years ago, there's a good 20 years of cartalk reruns i'll have to catch up on.

They're not my favorite, and I get a little irritated that they take about 3 calls during the course of the show, (two of which are from some twits arguing with their spouse over glove compartment space), but anything that isn't Garrison farking Keillor is ok with me. Listening to that maudlin, pug-faced, unfunny, loudly-inhaling bastard is only slightly less boring than eating a cardboard and dust sandwich. Fark that guy and the stupid-ass socks he sleazed into town in.
