I was referring specifically to the protective services that were with them at the time. Not if these parents were blameless when they took their kids to a bar because Brits are drunkards and have pubs every few metres and would never be caught dead going to a restaurant. But I will follow your diversion from the topic and say that the parents were wrong taking the kids anyplace that intimate. He is the Prime Minister of one of the most powerful countries on the planet and he thinks going to some dive where somebody can just reach out and snuff him or his family was a good idea? I think in my country (The Netherlands) the prime minister doesn't even have any protection normally. There are government ministers who go to work on their bicycle.
