Looking out my office window, missing the Kick off against France in the Euros... The rain seems pretty bleak to me! |

Really good photos. I wish I could go to London. I wish I could see the whole world. |

The actual old dark grimy and new dark looming relics of modernity against the cold drab sky 9/10 days is actually more haunting than puddle refraciton abstraction IMO. |

Tommy Moo: Shouldn't that Carnaby Street sign be backwards? No, that's a picture from the Welsh section of the city--a place called Teertsybanrac. |

Send that rain to Colorado and New Mexico. Those states are on fire. |

Tommy Moo: Shouldn't that Carnaby Street sign be backwards? In the original image the sign would have been upside down. The image has been rotated 180 degrees. Look at the bricks receding into the background. |

Look at the bricks receding into the background. Right, but if you reflect something through a horizontal plane and then rotate it 180 degrees, it should be backwards, unless he also flipped it left/right in photoshop. |

Last time I was in London, it sprinkled one day for maybe a half hour. Something to be said for going there in September. Or not. |

Has London ever not been in the rain? It seems like a perpetual Tim Burton movie. |
