I would invest in a lot of "Roadside Cleanup" signs. If I recall correctly, the KKK one in Missouri got pulled down a bunch of times.

Waiting for the Westview Baptist thugs to jump on this. Request a cleanup site, sue the state. Sign gets torn down, sue the cops. Find trash with someone's name on it. Sue them for littering.

(Maybe this only happened in my world) And of course the KKK didn't keep the road clear of trash so the state wound up taking down the sign anyways.

Except in the case of Texas, the state won the right to keep the KKK out of the program. While the Western District of Arkansas concluded that the signs represented a traditional public forum, and the Eastern District of Missouri concluded that it was a limited public forum, on appeal from the Eastern District of Texas the Fifth Circuit Court decided that Adopt-A-Highway was a nonpublic forum. In every case the courts were basically citing the same Supreme Court decisions and coming to different conclusions. SCOTUS for its part has been unwilling to take up any case over this issue, so it really isn't settled law at this point.

Yes, Missouri did fight the KKK on this issue and they did lose...in the courts. However after the courts decided the KKK could not be excluded from the program the state dedicated the stretch of road they wanted to clean "The Rosa Parks Expressway" The KKK never once cleaned the road and were eventually dropped from the program.

This could turn out to be a good thing. First, the KKK adopts a mile. Then, the Black Panther Party adopts two in an attempt to one-up the KKK, which then adopts three, etc. Lather, rinse, repeat until the entire state is clean!

NAACP have any highways under their care? I think the lawmakers are stuck here. Deny these freaks, and they have a discrimination case. Supreme Court already heard this and sided with the KKK. That is the price of free speech.

I remember hearing the stories of them fighting to get their name on the signs, but never show to clean since they're forbidden from wearing their masks or hiring outside help, but many are scared/ ashamed to reveal their identities.

Because usually "white pride" groups are not about celebrating heritage they are about violently intimidating minorities. There are, however, plenty of organized groups of "white" people who are organized for ethnic pride that may fit you if you want to join:

Irish: Friendly Sons of St. Patrick, among others (I hear they're really friendly)
Italian: Order Sons of Italy in America
French: French-American Foundation
Greek: American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association
Norwegian: Independent Order of Vikings (sorry no pirate organization but vikings are cool)
The list goes on and on, if you are proud of your heritage or want to learn more about it contact one of these organizations and know that they are all about pride and not about hate like the Klan or Hammerskins or what ever you were white-knighting.

They tried that here in St. Louis too.

I couldn't believe it when we saw that sign in Arkansas.We had been on the job for a week when one of our crew had a gun pulled on him (he was black). Sorry to rain on your little pity the poor oppressed white man parade but we have it so good we don't even know how good we have it. As a white man in America even though I grew up poor I got the good schools with the good teachers, the easy access to good neighborhoods, easy treatment by law enforcement (except when I was 20yo and looked like a tweaked out meth-head, because I was), my bosses almost always respected me except when I gave them reason not to and when people see me today they assume that I'm a college educated professional not only because of the way I dress but because I'm white. I see how my black and hispanic friends and colleagues are treated and it's not the same as I am.
