Man United exploring US stock market IPO. Stock will frequently go down for no reason only to bounce back up several minutes later, and regulators will give extra time at the end of the market to recoup its losses if in the red

Didn't something similar already happen after an automated trading glitch? The big players who lost money had their trades undone. Or so I heard. The Wikipedia page on "2010 flash crash" doesn't mention it. Maybe it was a different incident.

It's funny, because soccer is a game dominated by flopping dandies.

At the end of the year, do the top four stocks qualify for the more lucrative Champions Market?

Nice, Subby,. Not typing "Manchester" really shortened up that headline and in no way made it more difficult to comprehend.

They stopped trading, reversed every trade for the day, and said it was a computer glitch.

A few Fridays later in a news dump they said they had no clue what happened and it wasn't a glitch, ie it was a real run.

Wrong people lost money that day, so they had a do over. Why anyone invests in the market beyond an institutional level is beyond me, it's been completely captured by the big guys.

Well, if your sexuality is threatened you can always root for Chelsea Blew.

In the event of a draw, will all stock be converted to T-Bills?

Also, someone will try to give them the ticker symbol 'MANU' and will be promptly torn to pieces by actual Manchester United fans.

An aging soccer team with massive debt that has no money to spend in a league where every other top team is splashing billions of dollars? Who wouldn't want to be a part of that?

Seriously though, they're screwed if they get crowded out of CL football by higher-spending teams.
