The Daniel Bryan/CM Punk feud has been ruined by including an old guy and a worthless piece of flesh, Senile Vince is showing up in Cena's corner, and Triple H will be there to make sure it's all about him at WWE No Way Out, 8 PM on PPV

You make such a pointed effort to troll these threads that I think at this point you should be made an honorary member of the fWc. Congrats and welcome!

This is the most underwhelming PPV of this year so far.

I doubt it is such a waste of bandwidth that it isn't worth stealing

I met Noble and Silver backstage at the Hen and Chickens in Highbury, as we were on a double bill. I was putting on my slap and my false eyelashes and my glamourous costume, and there were these two rather nervous young men with ginger sideburns pissing around with videos and making microwave dinners backstage before the show to give to people in the audience.

I was doing my cheesy showbiz stuff, and at that time nobody had really heard of them, so people were coming to see me and saying, "You were great, but who the f**k are those weird boys?" I just thought, Jesus, drugs are good these days. They were absolutely mad but utterly charming.

I find them very, very funny indeed. They do a lot of slow dancing to Chris De Burgh's 'Lady In Red' as a prequel to absolutely nothing. Their act is surreal, baffling, delightful nonsense. It is utter gibberish but it makes you feel glad to be alive. And they work really, really hard. The haphazard look of the show is actually disguising a lot of really careful planning and attention to detail.

We shared a flat in Edinburgh last year and Kim and Stu (Noble and Silver) were just so funny around the flat, always doing these surreal improvisations. And it was the year they won the Perrier Best Newcomer Award. Which was most odd as they got shocking reviews there and I was consoling them with 'Who gives a shiat what the Scotsmen say anyway, etc' but thinking 'poor bastards, it's not going very well'. Then two weeks later they won the award so they were absolutely gobsmacked.

I imagine there'll be some quite odd and spontaneous things going on at their West End debut this month, but their shows are not all wanky. It's like being with the weird art students at college who you always thought were a bit odd, but you wanted to be in their gang because they must be clever or mad. And either one of those is fine.

Reposting this for the benefit of anyone who is here just for the PPV thread:

It's not too late to order the official FWC t-shirt!! We have 11 shirts already requested, so just a few more are needed to make a minimum order amount, and to ensure a decent price per shirt. See below for details!

Shirt will be black, 100% cotton, with a design on front and back.

Front:
lh4.googleusercontent.com

Back:
lh5.googleusercontent.com

Pricing: Depends heavily on the number of shirts ordered, but should not exceed $20 w/shipping (some larger sizes may cost extra though). Any funds left over will be donated to charity.

Interested? Email me (EIP) with a size and quantity needed. Once we tally orders, I'll get a final pricing per shirt from the printers.

Absolutely. I have a t-shirt shop in my area that will print them up, and I'll take care of shipping. Hobblekitty made the graphics. Once we get at least a min. order (12 shirts, hopefully more if we can), I'll get a final price and send them off for final graphics and printing. Those purchasing can pay me via Paypal, and any funds left over will go to charity.

We even got approval from Drew first. :D

No, nobody, ESPECIALLY George Clinton, has endorsed Clay as the future of funk. He's a wrestler home comes out, does the same dumb dance every week, and squashes his opponent. There is nothing at all representing the "future of funk" involved in that.
