And then you have this situation were a minor is involved. How in the hell does the school board think it is legal for them to strip search a minor without parental consent? The police can't even question a minor without consent.

How on Earth, in this day and age of paranoia about child molestation, where kids can't walk to school and anyone who looks at a child wrong is thrown in prison...how are school officials legally allowed to strip search a child?

How does an accusation of stealing $20 overpower the concerns of every single parent with regard to their child's safety?

Apparently people don't pay any attention to what the rules are, or they just think that it's the "other kids" or the "kids who are doing bad things" that will get strip-searched. Or the school shootings have made people think it's necessary. Still, hopefully the fact that it was done over a missing $20 will spark some reform.
