A ton of my friends participated in this rally, and I would have, too, if I weren't in TX now.
The rally was much bigger than implied by the amount of press it's *not* getting. This is a huge issue that is setting a terrifying precedent, yet it's getting almost no media coverage.

It's getting a lot of press in Michigan. I've heard the word vagina more times in the past couple of days from the news anchors than prior decades worth of newscast combined.

You know, I like most vaginas. However, I do not want to be anywhere near the one owned by the woman in the picture.

Born and raised in Michigan, went to school in East Lansing and I know a lot of the people who went to the rally. Michigan's legislature has been dominated by Republicans for a long time, but I think this moral campaign by the party will really sour the support many, many people gave Rick Perry and his economic platform.

Honestly I never thought my state would sink this low. Detroit is already the punching bag of the rest of the country and now these assholes in Lansing are making us look like bigots too.
