gmoney101: Meh, what was more interesting was the Greatest Scenes in Star Wars story at the bottom. number 4 and 3?? Seriously? The fact that list had ANY scenes from the prequels makes it terrible. Oh, and star wars dolls holding signs about being unemployed is slightly amusing too I guess. |

| Duck_of_Doom gmoney101 : Meh, what was more interesting was the Greatest Scenes in Star Wars story at the bottom. number 4 and 3?? Seriously? 4, maybe. 3 I can see. But 8?! Seriously?!?! A flying CGI green bulldog on meth is included, and is ranked higher than the Sarlacc pit, or the Hoth battle, or the bloody Cantina scene? |

As someone who just got sacked from a job after 16 years, I'm not amused. *goes off to have a cry* |

gmoney101: Meh, what was more interesting was the Greatest Scenes in Star Wars story at the bottom. number 4 and 3?? Seriously? The thing with the fights in the original trilogy is that they are as long as they need to be and are involved with an emotional story. Seriously, the one in ROTJ is just over 3:30 long and quite a lot of that isn't them fighting, but talking, but the 1 minute from where Vader says he's going to turn Leia to Luke cutting off Vader's hand is one of the finest moments of the trilogy. When Luke's going at Vader, it's not some farking ballet, it's a rage-filled guy who plans to cut him up into small pieces. The fights in the prequel are just CG masturbation. The very best moment in the whole of Star Wars is the Millenium Falcon appearing, eclipsing the sun. Because the character who changes in Star Wars isn't Luke, it's Han. He goes from the sort of guy that wastes bounty hunters and looks after himself to a guy that realises there's a bigger world out there. And for the billionth time on the internet, that's why Han Shooting Only isn't just some nerdism, it matters to his story. /Star Wars Rant Over |

Not to mention I can't help wishing pain and misery on Luke now that I am older and pay more attention to the story and not just the lasers. Dude was a crybaby of epic proportions. If you had to drink every time he said a line in that movie with a whiny tone in his voice... to the hospital you would go. |
