He hasn't done anything of the sort yet, and in fact has loosened some gun regulations, but he'll take them away - that's the plan. It's masterful. He's lulling you into a false sense of security because it will be that much sweeter to tear off the second amendment from the constitution itself and wipe his butt with it in front of you. He's just waiting for the right time to do it.

Gun registration is unconstitutional. You have to call it a "Firearms Transfer Database" like Massachusetts does. They aren't keeping a database of the guns you own, they are keeping a database of every time a gun changes hands.

There is a local Gun & Pawn shop that's been running ads on the radio as to how gun sales rose last year at election time and how it's happening again. And how we need to 'Send a message about how serious Americans are about their 2nd amendment rights'

Well, for buying. And Congress could do that, too, if it wanted, under the Militia clause:

Section. 8.

The Congress shall have Power ... Hell, Congress could legally *REQUIRE* you to buy a gun, especially if you are a male between the ages of 18 and 45.

I bought guns yesterday. Because when the Christian Sharia becomes law they'll come for guns first. The Left take guns away? Please. The main purpose of the NRA is to keep fat old white impotent conservatives from feeling threatened by non-caucasians. Had a convo with by brother right after Obama was elected; he was saying how hard it was to find ammo, and how expensive it was. I told him it was because the pants-wetting cowards in the right wing were AFRAID Obama was gonna take theyer guhns, so they were stockpiling. BOOM! Simultaneous glut and shortage of ammunition, and all the life's savings in the ammo manufacturer's pockets.

See, the folks in charge of the NRA are smart - they know how to push the buttons of insecure, uneducated FOX news viewers (but I repeat myself), and convince them that they should buy bullets instead of gold. Which, to be fair, is probably smarter in the long term.

So now the waterheads of the American Right are totally broke, sitting on cases of ammo while their kids go hungry and uneducated, and having a miserable time of it, all because they were dumb enough to be tricked into buying ammo instead of food.

I've been stockpiling 22, simply because that is what I shoot mostly. Still have most of the 45 and 7.62x51 I bought 5 years ago, simply because I don't shoot the centerfire a lot.

Why stock up on the 22? Because I couldn't find any to buy during 2009. And I've got a new GSG-1911-22 and a 22 conversion on the way for my FAL.

This issue is going to get really fun in about 70 years when shoulder mounted thermonuclear launchers and handheld laser vaporizers are on the market.

Liberals like me will be in coffee shops waxing on about how the founders would have been totally fine with AK47s with extended banana clips, but they never expected the second amendment to cover pocket sized predator drones.

It could be the impending zombie apocolypse. One mutated strand of bath salts and blammo, zombie apocolypse.
