For example, you'll get the "OMG FARTBONGO IS GONNA TAKE AWAY OUR GUNS!!!11!!", to which you point out that in President Obama's first term, there have been no meaningful efforts to restrict gun ownership, and that he has, in actuality, actually expanded the right to gun ownership.

The response back, then, is "He's waiting for his second term to do all that stuff!"

The removal of outlawing labor unions and removal of labor laws has historically been the early warning signs for a political party attempting fascist/communist control over a government. Other warning signs include propaganda that is counter to reality and even counter to the actual definition of words.
