My experience with Aer Lingus has been pretty negative. Ryan Air seems to be even worse.

I think flying is just designed to suck.

I was planning on flying from Manchester to Dublin with them in a months time. I hope there is no takeover/degradation of service before then.

You won't be in the air long enough to be able to tell if there has been. The flight takes about 40 minutes, (almost) as soon as the plane reaches cruising altitude it starts to descend again.
