| the_rev I didn't expect this to be as good as it is. |
| slayer199 That was far better than I thought it would be...they were very good. |
| reverend maynard
...wow. |
| SJKebab holy shiat that sent a shiver up my spine. Their voices are amazing! I thought Mike Masse was a trick shot snooker player though. |
| Jon Swift's Baby Grill

Great harmonizing there. I wish I could put something in the tip pitcher. Bass guy reminds me of the Nard-dog but that's not a bad thing. |
| SJKebab On another note, this song is an amazing bit of song writing. It's just a terrific piece of composition. |
| evulc
wow! what a great duo. great job. way better than i would believe. /practice kids. here's what it gets you. |

SJKebab: On another note, this song is an amazing bit of song writing. It's just a terrific piece of composition. Agreed. Toto wrote a lot of great songs, and they're a totally underrated band, IMO. Hard stuff to cover. Cool thing is they're still touring and sound as great as ever. |
| chrisco123
It's a cover. Too bad they can't write their own songs... |
| Eddy Gurge Damn, I did not expect that at all. |

I never got into them myself, but only because I never really tried. Care to suggest a good starting album or two? /They're still touring? wow |
| Eddy Gurge Awesome, quite a few vids on their youtube page Link |

Pretty good vocals, the guy on the acoustic should learn to do something besides strumming, like throwing in some percussion: Andy McKee |
| SJKebab His cover of High and Dry by radiohead is similarly flawless. |
| URAPNIS
Too bad their vocals are wasted on such a terrible song. |
| SJKebab URAPNIS: Too bad their vocals are wasted on such a terrible song. You have just absolved yourself of the right to criticize music for all time. |

...Wow! This is one of my favorite songs too (that I rarely admit to in public). |
| Vai1018
Absolutely amazing, gave me goosebumps listening to it. Great find. |
| LasersHurt Marshall Willenholly: Pretty good vocals, the guy on the acoustic should learn to do something besides strumming, like throwing in some percussion: Andy McKee Guitar Percussion has been worming its way throughout acoustic guitar like some sort of damn virus. Don't get me wrong, it's very cool, but it's kind of "trending" right now. |
| LordStormes
They do a bunch of songs... and all are excellent. |
| Wise_Guy
Is that Louis CK? |
| InfrasonicTom They should totally go on American Idol or something. |

The best cover of Toto's "Africa" by two guys in a pizza joint that you will see, EVER That's setting the bar pretty low there, subby. |

I was expecting two employees, using cardboard boxes, pizza cutters, and oven doors... |

SJKebab: holy shiat that sent a shiver up my spine. Their voices are amazing! I thought Mike Masse was a trick shot snooker player though. Well, the trick shot guy's name is Mike Massey. Though the Masse' would probably be in his repertoire. |
| Kaeishiwaza
Holy crap. Didn't see that coming. |

*blink* I'd never heard of or seen this dude until now. He's like...a great impressionist, who only does lead singers...or...something. /Mind = Blown |
| weirdneighbour
Not a Toto fan at all but it is cool to see a couple of guys just belt it out like that. |
| Perlin Noise
yeah, they just nail the shiat out of that song... nice work |
| Crocoduck
This is a nice reminder that songs in olden days had lyrics and would be played by what those in past generations called "musical instruments". |
| caperbear
so is it 'a master race down in Aaaaaafrica?' or is it 'i missed her face down in Aaaaaaafrica?' i mean... what the hell am i doing here? |
| Mr. Cat Poop caperbear: so is it 'a master race down in Aaaaaafrica?' or is it 'i missed her face down in Aaaaaaafrica?' i mean... what the hell am i doing here? I ate some brains down in Africa. It's about the zombie apocalypse. |

"I bless the rains down in Africa" BTW, thanks a helluva lot, Subby - I looked him up on YouTube, and now I've pretty much screwed up the rest of my day. /But it's great. //And seriously, thanks, Subs... |
| slayer199 It looks like Louis C.K.'s side job as a small venue singer is going well. |
| Perlin Noise
jonjr215: SJKebab: On another note, this song is an amazing bit of song writing. It's just a terrific piece of composition. This. The Saaaare-Rengetti line grinds on me ..but the rest of the song is top notch. |

It's a crime to see that much talent wasted by playing a pizza joint. |

Old or new, I don't care for it in general but ill make an exception in this case. Damn good cover. |
| slayer199 Dude had a kickstarter project to release his own CD. He got the funding but I couldn't find anything else. Interestingly enough it did say this: "Mike Massé is a singer/guitarist from Salt Lake City. Mike is also a full-time husband, father, and attorney (public defender). Mike has gained a following from his performance of cover songs posted to his YouTube channel. He thanks you for your support!" Wise_Guy: Is that Louis CK? Missed that before I posted my earlier comment. He does look a LOT like Louis CK. |
