All right Issa. Don't play the laughing boy. There's only two things I hate in the auction world. People who are intolerant of other peoples' bids and the Dutch.

Seems to me an IPO as its done now is far more "free market" than a Dutch Auction.

So that's not racist but call burning a business down to collect the insurance money "jewish lightning" and you're worse than Hitler.

Facebook set the terms, everyone knew the terms going in. Unless there was fraud, and I haven't seen any suggestion of that, then it's not FB's fault people are poor investors

Issa delivered a 15-page letter to SEC chairman Mary Schapiro, saying the steep slide in Facebook's shares shows that investment banks are able to "dictate pricing while only indirectly considering market supply-and-demand."

The steep slide in Facebook's shares is because a load of people bought them thinking they were going to be easy money, a fast buck turnaround and when they went to sell, realised they'd been sold shares at a value considerably higher than the smart people would pay for them.

No sympathy for those people, whatsoever. Buy companies because they look well priced and have a good product or service. Anything else is just like playing roulette.
