| Publikwerks They should make the decide everyhing. If Germany wins, Greece is slave to the Germans for like 20 years. If Greece wins, Germany has to co-sign every Greek Bond for 20 years. |

I suppose anything can happen in one game, but I just can't see any result other than something like 3-0 Germany. |
||
| Trocadero
Germany's gonna beat the Greeks like they owe them money. |

Man I hope Germany loses. I cannot STAND watching the Greeks. |

![]() I'm going to go ahead a card Greece for time wasting and otherwise boringly parking the bus from the opening whistle onwards. And if not for those offenses, then one more for simulation won't hurt them... |

*WIN, I hope German WINS!!!! Wow, talk about brain farts. |

I'm looking forward to this game. I'm in braunschweig for one night before pissing off back to Australia, so this is my chance to get some german culture into me. |

There was no offsides. i thought that was an own goal because the greeks were defending that area of the pitch nah, that was in the first half. the goal was in the closing moments of the second half, so the ends had switched. at least that would be my defense of what seems to be a glaring error by monty python. |

| DjangoStonereaver Overheard at the offices of PaddyPower.com: "Hey, Paddy!" "What is it, Mike?" "I have a Mr. Samaras on the line who wants to put down $500 million Euros on the German goalie suffering a blown out kneecap on his way to the pitch. Do I take it?" |

go greece |

I'm going to tell you exactly how this will go down. 1. Germany is going to score early, in the first 15 minutes. 2. Greece will tie it in the 2nd half. 3. Greece will hit a post at some point in this game. 4. Greece will either score the winning goal with less than 5 minutes left, OT, or win in penalty kicks. /book it like Karagounis |

As an expat here in Leipzig, I have to say this soccer stuff is pretty cool. I mean I have to latch on to some sport fever somehow. My Spurs choked but at least my Giants won the big one. But watching those games at 2 in the morning without fellow football and basketball buddys around kinda sux. Lets hope Deutschland smacks Greece like Eli smacked Brady. |

I'm glad my boss messed up and forgot to register me for a 3pm speaker panel on audit committees that I was supposed to cover today. I think the game will be a bit more entertaining than that. In the meantime, enjoy Mats Hummels not giving a fark |
||
| neaorin
Oh boy. I see an ugly game which the Germans take 1-0 on a late penalty, followed by a flurry of "Germany knocks Greece out of the Euro" submissions. |

But the goalie was not wearing robes (which all the Greeks were), so I think they had it right. /and he was offside by at least a yard. |

I can't see anything other than an easy win for Germany. Germany 3-0 Greece |

"According to a story doing the rounds on Twitter on Sunday, a group of drunken German tourists refused to pay their bar bill in a club in Crete. Asked why not, they reportedly told the barman that it was the Greeks who owed them money." According to my Greek friends, the mafia on Crete took care of the bill |
||

Trocadero: Germany's gonna beat the Greeks like they owe them money. More like the Greeks are going to be scrappy as hell just to stick it to Germany (Before Germany devastates their economy) You have an entire country (Greece) focused on one match, and an indifferent Germany only in the quarter-finals of a tournament they are now favored to win |

my suggestion for the game. following the team walk with the kids are a couple of guards with large ass pile of cash. do it like the world series of poker. place a large stack of euros and some bracelets on the side of field with the fourth official. winner takes all. |

Anyone able to read lips in German and know what Schweinsteiger was saying after that offsides? |

Solid work on disallowing the early goal. That's how it's done. |

Norfolking Chance: You know you want it, a Germany vs England semi final thats decided on penalties. My kid does, because he is going for England and is under the illusion that they will win Euro this year. Kid is more than half English, mostly thru his father's family His Moms are German and German born, so we are going for Germany. Makes for a strange household really, but that's modern Canada. /Anybody but Portugal, really! |

I'm trying to figure out how he is your kid if you aren't his mom (implied by saying "his mom") and you aren't his dad ("his father's")? Makes for an even more interesting household that he has multiple moms? Step dad? If so, cool beans that you count him as your own :) |

Lazy Greek goalie doesn't want to do his job. I'm shocked. |
