I think it's kinda cool. Imagine getting in there and finishing out the body professionally and painting it properly, and taking a look at the mechanical and interior (and A/C, apparently).

It'd be fun to drive if finished properly. Certainly would get a lot of attention from car people.

This thing is a work in progress.

a little more Bondo, some Macco paint, 20 inch rims, and a buff, you would have one sweet ride.

Someone could've used those parts to fix up an nice vintage International Harvester pickup, rather than grafting them onto that POS GM thing. What a shame. With some finish and paint, it would look interesting from the front, but its like they forgot about the whole back half...perhaps if they cut it down and fabbed a pickup bed in place of hte back half of the sedan...but then...if they're going to do that....just restore the cool old International truck and crush the Pontiac!

I think the title may be key there. If it's really titled as a '62 International, (depending on the state) the tag fee should be very low. Plus it would qualify as an antique car. Clever.

Thanks for the flashbacks. Twenty years of therapy right down the drain. 1974 Austin Marina.

The ignition is on the wrong side of the steering column. That's why every time I try to turn off the car, I grind the starter.

I need twelve feet of fuel line.
Are you stupid?
No, I own an Austin Marina
Then, yes. Yes you are stupid.

Don't call 'em brakes, call 'em breaks. Cause that's what they do.

This thing won"t look good from any angle. I think it as a neat idea, but not one thing on it was done straight. It's like this guy or guys don't own a tape measure or something. From the front, the cab is leaning to one side in respect to the front clip. From the died the cab is leaning forward. The front clip appears to be lower that the ass end. Christ, forget the tape measure, get a piece of string and and a square and make things line up.

I have to say I wasn't too familiar with the Austin Marina, so I went to google and found this little gem.

I was close, thinking it would be some Frankenstein-y creation. But I'm disappointed it isn't a horrible grafting of some of the worst cars ever. Like, slap together parts of a Pacer, a Pinto, a Yugo, and an Edsel. Something like that could almost be called art if it were done well.

Add the pick up bed on to the back of the sedan back.

This.

About as much logic as taking a full size truck, dropping it to the gound, fill the bed with gas tank and/or sound system and put 'rims' on it. I enjoy toying around in a truck, but it was built for getting projects done not being a project.
