Will Road America host another demolition derby? Will there be a final lap clusterfark again? Will local legend Bill Prietzel live his dream? Can this headline get any cheesier? NASCAR Nationwide Series Sargento 200, 3:30 ET on ESPN

Time trials start around 9am. I'm so cheering for the "Franklin Flyer" Bill Prietzel to qualify and do well. Saw him run so many times at Hales Corners Speedway that used to be where the Menards is in Franklin in the 80's and '90's. Hell, I even won a demolition derby on that track. The last Memorial Day derby. Yes, there was banking. Not much, but enough for late models to get up on 3 wheels in the corners.

Yeah, this I'm excited about. Has she run a road course in any NASCAR level yet?

Good for you! But I'm kinda getting sick of all the Saturday night races. Far too many of them. I'm generally out and about on a Saturday night, and the Mrs. doesn't like NASCAR... so Sunday afternoons are the perfect time for a race.

Obviously the classics like Daytona July, Bristol night race, Coke 600 should be held at night. But beyond that, its just annoying.

Maybe on TV but have you ever been in the South in the sun in July and August?

When its 98 degrees in the shade and the dewpoint is 93?

Sweet. I didn't even realize there was a Nationwide race today. I was planning on going to Sonoma tomorrow, but I used the money to buy a motorcycle instead.

It's kind of a goofy bike. KZ1000 police special. Used by Monterey County Sherriffs department. I know the cop who had it in service. It was only dropped once for a shoot out with a gangbanger. It runs perfectly, it looks pretty good. And it cost less than my bicycle.

I absolutely love Road America. I really wish the Sprint Cup would swap out a cookie cutter track for Road America.

Either way, this has been the one Nationwide race I look forward to every year since they started in 2010 (I think?)

Who needs a Wallace when there is a Villeneuve?

Watching Jacques Villeneuve ruining the Nationwide races has become one of my favorite annual traditions!

I'm damn sorry I can't go to Sears Point tomorrow, but it should be an exciting race. So glad that Boris and Robby are in it! A lot of unexpected names, too, including David Mayhew making his 2nd ever NASCAR appearance and first ever cup race on the road course.

RaceBuddy working decent for anybody? Mine constantly freezes for a second or two, then comes back and the car has travelled half a lap.
