I don't know why everyone hates on Justin Bieber. He didn't have all this fame fall in his lap overnight. He has put in the work and now it's paying off.

Can't hate on that.

This is an interesting topic. I personally wouldn't do it, but then again I haven't had any truly horrific experiences....well, other than the divorce, and seeing one of my closest friends dead on the floor a month ago, but even so those experiences are a part of ME' who I am and how I am.

Interesting....

Jealousy. He's pretty, rich, and has Selina Gomez for a girlfriend and millions of girls freaking for him. I joke about him, too, but I wouldn't mind trading places for a few months.

The best way is to never have those memories to begin with. It's called the volume control. Use it.

Sounds like memory repression which seems like a great idea until the flashbacks happen in 10-15 years. Dunno about this.

I've always seemed to have mostly forgotten them anyways.
Probably self-preservation.

He's Canadian. That's reason enough right there. :)

A Bieber is when you take a dump on the hood of a cop car and run away or something.

Years ago i was on the scene of a pretty bad car accident. Not an emt or anything, just a college kid who happened to be there.

Sat with a guy while he died. There wasnt anything to be done... way too much damage. When the ambulance showed up he stopped breathing and they put the blanket on him.

The next day i was talking to my mom, an RN, and she suggested i go to the campus counsler for something that sounded a lot like this.

"You dont forget the event, you just mellow the emotional response." I opted not to, because i was actually pretty ok with it, but i can see the appeal.

Nah, they're always there, lurking in the shadows of your subconscious, quietly sabotaging every aspect of your life, waiting for the right moment to pounce without warning.

Have a nice day.

Well, also a feeling of injustice, because he got all he has by being a terrible singer and songwriter.

No, no electric shock. I saw a report on the study that they were doing at St Andrews, and if what was reported (and my memory) are accurate the patients were given a common prescription drug known to cause memory loss -- might have been a blood pressure med -- I recognized the name as one they advertise on tv. (Looks like it causes memory loss without even taking it??)

At the beginning of the study they did brain scans while the patient relived the experience to see how the brain was reacting to the memory. Then everyday for six weeks the patient read their written account of the traumatizing event (while on the medication), at the end of the six weeks they did brain scans again. They could tell from the scans that the patients' brain reacted to the memory more like a non-PTSD brain, supporting the patient's self-reporting that they were less traumatized by the memory. The memory was intact, just not so overwhelming that they could not function.

Yes. Because if Justin Bieber never existed, his fans never would've had such low standards for music. /s

Hating on Bieber because of how he got where he is today is like picking a fight with the guy your girlfriend secretly slept with after pretending to be single. He did nothing wrong, and the only reason you aren't angry at who you should be angry with is because THAT person is also a reflection of your own standards.

Easy. A Bieber is young man, without talent, but highly compensated by older men who have sex with him.
