Quite fitting that he would die from a bum ticker.

RIP, Mr Clock Man - you have all the time in the world now.

Suck doesn't equal obscure.

If you want obscure, you should talk about The Weatherman's Tick Tock Story.

On Time by John Milton

Fly envious Time, till thou run out thy race,
Call on the lazy leaden-stepping hours,
Whose speed is but the heavy Plummets pace;
And glut thy self with what thy womb devours,
Which is no more then what is false and vain,
And meerly mortal dross;
So little is our loss,
So little is thy gain.
For when as each thing bad thou hast entomb'd,
And last of all, thy greedy self consum'd,
Then long Eternity shall greet our bliss
With an individual kiss;
And Joy shall overtake us as a flood,
When every thing that is sincerely good
And perfectly divine,
With Truth, and Peace, and Love shall ever shine
About the supreme Throne
Of him, t'whose happy-making sight alone,
When once our heav'nly-guided soul shall clime,
Then all this Earthy grosnes quit,
Attir'd with Stars, we shall for ever sit,
Triumphing over Death, and Chance, and thee O Time.

He had been looking to do more of the same in retirement. On Wednesday, Pat discovered her husband unresponsive in bed. An autopsy revealed a heart attack, she said.

"It was horrible, absolutely horrible."

Peacefully in your sleep, what a way to go.

Rufus Lee King: Anyway, notice how I have the scythe blade pointing at the clock. Time. End of time.

it's like you designed the house to fit that blade

Well, you see, it's an apartment. The fireplace, as well as everything else structural in here is severely off-center. This is South Carolina, mind you, so they probably didn't even use blueprints, just Cletus and Bodine drawing the plans on old wrapping paper with a crayon.

Anyway, it worked out to my advantage, leaving me a perfect place to mount the scythe.

NICE i bet your gf or wife loves it!

The idea that we're stupid enough to think anyone dies painlessly is fairly sad. I mean, that is what we mean when we say "peacefully in $pronoun sleep" isn't it? How does dying ever not hurt?
