It all depends on your timeline! If you're not planning on retiring for 30 years, keep buying! If you're retiring in a year, you shouldn't have been that heavily into the market anyway. |

| This About That So, the Fark article about "sell everything" is actually a snide quote about dumb clients from a money manager. The "buying opportunity" article is, at least, about an interpretation of technical indicators, with mention of a "blizzard of bad news". My own very fuzzy evaluation is that the long-term (several months) pattern in the major indices indicates a long-term top, but not all stocks will observe it. Also, the 13,000 level of the DJIA is a psychological big deal of some kind, and a "blizzard" passes on. So, "hold". Thanks Fark, that's what I was going to do anyhow. |
