I'm also in Baltimore, and yeah, it's disgusting out there. Disgustinger than usual: NOAA says the average high is 86, and it's pushing 100.

Humidity isn't quite as bad as it could be, though, around 40%. Wait for August, though, when the humidity usually settles in for real, in the 80s and up.

Each August we go to Balto for a gathering and it is hotter than hades. I was wearing shorts and sat down on the steps of the cement amphitheater at the Inner Harbor. I had sear marks on my thighs. Talk about frying an egg! Burnt my legs I did.

You know if you switched to metric it would be half as hot. 4 degrees C. is twice as hot as 2 degrees. That's how math works right?
