Abe Vigoda's Ghost: Is it still red cars? I know it's been a few days since I read the story on Fark, but things do change around here. It's now red and white, with a little bit of purple during berry season. |

Last summer the whole drivers side of my car was covered in bird poop. Passanger side was clean. I think a plane flying by must have spooked a flock and they all shat at once while flying by. It was weird. |

1: cdedbdme-jpg.jpg Did you just clean your car and have to wash it again because a bird left you a fowl present on your newly washed hood? Take a look at some cars that are higher targets for our feathered friends than others. 2: Queen-reporter---red-jpg.jpg According to the Daily Mail, researchers say red cars have an 18 percent chance of being pelted by bird droppings. 3: green-car---myrmi-jpg.jpg However, green cars were found to suffer the least of being bombed by birds with 1 percent. 4: white---pedrosimoes7-jpg.jpg When it comes to black or white cars, white cars escape the unpleasantness left behind by birds. 5: black-damors-jpg.jpg Bird droppings are easier to spot on black vehicles, too. 6: dichohecho-silver-jpg.jpg It's important to clean off your vehicle after it's been targeted and nailed by birds. As well as being unsightly, insurance figures show bird droppings on vehicles can be an expensive problem, causing stained paintwork. So how quickly did people wash their car after getting hit? 7: car-wash-jpg.jpg Seventeen percent of people said they took action immediately to clean their car. 8: Parker-Michael-Knight---car-wash-jpg .jpg Twenty percent of people said they took action within a couple of days. 9: nonseq-dirtycar-jpg.jpg Fifty-five percent of drivers said they waited until the next car wash. 10: gtquast-dirtyvan-jpg.jpg Eight percent said they never washed their car. 11: Chrisbastian44---bird-jpg.jpg The report by the Daily Mail also said that some motorists had theories about what type of car might be targets for bird droppings. 12: lexus-jpg.jpg A Lexus driver told the Daily Mail that newly polished cars suffer because birds see a reflection of themselves. 13: Ford-Focus-jpg.jpg A Ford Focus owner said the darker the color the deeper the reflection. 14: Alfa-Romeo-Guilietta---29182571-jpg. jpg An Alfa Romeo driver told the Daily Mail it depends where you park. 15: Mercedes-Benz-jpg-jpg.jpg A Mercedes driver said blue was the worst color since it reminds birds of water. 16: moonlightbulb---birds-jpg.jpg Have a tip on keeping the car clear from being hammered? Let us know in the comments! |

An Alfa Romeo driver told the Daily Mail it depends where you park. So the Alfa Romero driver was the only one they talked to with a brain? |

NotARocketScientist: An Alfa Romeo driver told the Daily Mail it depends where you park. So the Alfa Romero driver was the only one they talked to with a brain? It's remarkable, because one doesn't usually associate rational thinking with driving Italian cars. |

I had a white Focus some years ago. At the airport parking uring a vacation, it was the only white car in the vicinity. And the most pooped on. |
