She knew the boy didn't have the strength to pull himself back up onto the roof because she spent about two minutes talking to him while he just hung there.

So, nice day we're having!

That's old school.

She spun him on his head, and pretended he was a campfire she was warming her hands over while he spun.

"He was crying when he was up there," she said. "I could see the tears and the snot running down his face."

I would have pretended like I was going to catch him, but then unfortunately fail. Still get called a hero for trying, without all that snot getting all over me,

"I could see the tears and the snot running down his face." Every feel-good article needs a charming little Aqualung reference to make it that much more endearing.

What's weird is that in the last four weeks or so, there have been half a dozen instances of kids falling out of windows in the area. Thankfully none of the kids have died.

Thank goodness for her. Otherwise the dad would have arrived home to discover his, most likely injured/dead, son in the front yard. How did he end up on the roof? wtf?

It's not the result of a sexual encounter, if that's what you're thinking.

So, she had plenty of padding to ease the fall.

I'm surprised she didn't end up on the sex offender registry for touching another person's kid. I guess maybe if she was a guy.

if they tested both the rescuer and the parent; I bet one of them would have tested positive for meth. The arrested was most likely the clean one. Just another reason why YOU'RE BROKE JACKSON COUNTY. Screw over the people who actually work to support your crappy form of justice, and let the tweakers run around. Because that's how you get paid, right?

Probably because it's been hot as fark and people have their windows open to catch the breeze. Ask Eric Clapton aaaaall about it.

But hey, at least Medford got in the news for something positive. That place is barely worth a stop for supplies on the way out to Klamath Falls for some hunting.
