I thought 2014 was an expected funding cutoff because JWST was supposed to be up. That's not till 2018 now, and HST shouldn't fall on its own till 2024, if the mission to attach a deorbit rocket to it isn't done. I'd guess Hubble gets an extension if it's still functional enough.

Okay, so HH270 is shooting HH110 with a plasma jet. Seems to me they are possibly interacting with each others magnetic fields.

Any other ideas why they would be pointing at each other?

FTA Massive newborn stars are hot, bright, spin rapidly, and have strong magnetic fields.

I won't lie. Magnetic fields get me all hot and bothered. In a scientific sense, of course. The only thing which can produce them is electricity, as i'm sure you know. Gravity isn't present everywhere in the universe, but magnetic fields are. Which makes me wonder why gravity is given so much attention in the standard model, even being called the dominant force, and electricity is ignored. Magnetic fields act on everything in the universe, but gravity does not. It's my opinion that's where the standard model needs tweaking.

That's about right, I was thinking of the 2014 date because after 2014 they can't guarantee that it'll still be in working condition. got it confused with the deorbit date.
