| ZAZ It went better than the time conservative suburban police executed a warrant in Attleboro, Mass. and discovered an S&M party. S&M is illegal in Massachusetts; consent is not a defense to harmful battery. Arrests were made. All involved were relieved when the case was dropped on a technicality. (Search keyword: "paddleboro".) |

From the full article: "Everything was kept in a back area. There was nothing in the front," he said. Man, I hate mullet parties... |

I love how the article says the couple were engaging in "unseemly" behavior. Unseemly is a word not used nearly often enough to describe behavior that gives us a case of the shivers. |

Slow NewzDayTM = regurgitating slogans from 15 years ago about a story from 3 weeks ago. Gotcha. |

*sigh* This is why furries can't have nice things outside of hotels. |

NallTWD: *sigh* This is why furries can't have nice things outside of hotels. Actually, they're a large part of the reason why fecal matter is on everything in hotels. |

Is it a sexual thing with these furries? It's always a sexual thing somehow...just not sure how. Let's not encourage this, lest people may want to experiment....then next thing you know they'll wanna be legally married. |

My gay furry romance novel is linked in my profile. And it's even available on paper now if that's your thing. That said: only a small percentage of furries fursuit (It's expensive), and a tinier percentage of those hump in their suits (because the suits are expensive among other reasons). |

NallTWD: *sigh* This is why furries can't have nice things outside of hotels. No. No. This is why furries can't have nice things period. The majority of people involved in it are interested in Roleplay - i.e. Chat or Forum, or tabletop games, or the art and literature that comes from it. And then you have these guys. I'm also shocked that someone would let them use the Rescue Squad to have their party. Are they like community centers for you yankees? doglover: They say what they want about the ponies, this is still weirder. It's cute you think that us bronies aren't furries. :3 |

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say when you spend ten thousand dollars + on a life-like fursuit of a cartoon character with realistic genitalia, then you have a problem. A major problem. |

A major problem. It has been observed that the fastest way to become popular and get gift art is to buy an awesome fursuit from, say, Clockwork Creatures or something. it's that or draw porn, basically. /not a popular furry |

Out of curiosity, is it normal for a furry to insist that their fursuit be referred to by name, lest it be "offended"? /crazy ex-roomie story |

Furries are too mainstream. Most bronies, myself included, dress up as plants and fungi to get our kicks. |

I found myself liking Jay Naylor before I realized what his art usually is. Even the artists that do draw porn I've found I get into them because of the safe for work stuff they do. |

Does it work on Fark? I'd chip in to get one of our attention whores a hermaphroditic fursuit. Also, is this the first Fark headline with yiffing? I don't think the mainstream world knows what that is yet. Those peasants and their "normal" side of the internet. |

![]() It's not such a huge jump from Cosplay to Fursuits, y'know. |

Honest question about furries: I've only heard about them through online mockery and an episode of CSI. Do they actually use terms like yiffing etc.? Was the portrayal on CSI what their get-togethers are actually like, aside from the the murder (probably)? |

publikenemy: Is it a sexual thing with these furries? It's always a sexual thing somehow...just not sure how. No. Furries just tend to be more open about their sexuality and the internet LOVES to hategasm over a yiff show. Any time one happens you hear about it because well, it generates hits. I imagine the rest of the fandom is more like "Goddamnit, we designated a back room for that shiat for a REASON! The mundanes always freak out!" |

Was the portrayal on CSI what their get-togethers are actually like, aside from the the murder (probably)? Yes and no. The majority of people who identify as furry do so because they enjoy the culture - i.e. they enjoy art, stories and fanfiction, or roleplaying involving it. Even smaller are the amount of people who do it because they enjoy the drawn pornography, or erotic works of literature. And then you have these guys. And yes, they do call it yiffing. |
